My First and Second Day

My first day of work started at 6:45 am. First they had me put the money in the till and then they showed me how to punch in and work the till. I was also given a new uniform. The restaurant opens at 7:00 am Monday-Friday and we close at 10:30 am so we can can get ready for the lunch buffet. We open again at 11:00. On the weekends we are open from 7:00 am until 2 :00 pm for brunch. Brunch  is a mixture of breakfast and lunch items.

My second day of my job I was carrying a tray of dirty dishes and I almost dropped them on the floor. I am slowly getting better at using the cash register. I work with 2-3 other people. One of the best parts about working there is that I am the youngest. I am only working part time which is 3 days a week.  

My New Job

I started working at Fortune Bay in the Tamarack on Friday, September 18th, 2015. What I do is I am a hostess and a waitress. A hostess is a person who welcomes the customers in the Restaurant and they also seat the customers. I am also a waitress there, I take drink orders and also take their plates if they are done using them. 

The Tamarack is a buffet with a variety of different foods to try.
